Re: usj osaka to close ET?

I have only ridden the one in CA many years ago, but I would hope they would keep the ride system and make a new ride from it. Imagine a flying ride with Mummy, Marvel Superheroes, Scoobydoo, Beetle Juice, etc.

Re: usj osaka to close ET?

I am guessing Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are going in E.T.'s place. Hmmm.

It's hard to read the smaller writing, but it looks like they're having an Arigatou (Thank You) ET Campaign. The other writing is too small and unclear to read, but it's going to cost you 1,000 yen.

No. You might be remembering Hollywood's closure.

These characters are not the core of USJ's.. They already have the Spiderman ride and Beetlejuice show there so repeating that would be a bad call.. They need a brand new ride unique to this park...with a theme or characters that the japanese audiences can relate to.

Maybe its too out of date but I've always wanted a really top of the line Scooby Doo Dark Ride. It seems to be a perfect fit for a dark ride but no ones ever done it right.

Re: usj osaka to close ET?

I'll never forgive USH for removing the ET Ride. It was one of the two best attractions in the park (along with Jurassic Park), and the Revenge of the Mummy is rather weak.

Re: usj osaka to close ET?

I just hope, for USJ's sake, that this doesn't turn out to be a smaller version of something that exists elsewhere, like Hollywood's Mummy.

Scooby Doo's Spooky Coaster, at Warner Bros. Movieworld, Here in Australia is Fantastic! It's an Indoor Coaster but the starts like a dark ride, some great themeing, actually 2nd best you will find on a ride in Australia (Wild West Falls at WB is the best)

Official Site-
Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster | Warner Bros. Movie World
