There will be a new "Freakz" scare zone as well, here is some artwok showing off some of the characters: Universal Studios Hollywood adding new Hollywood Horror Nights scare zones for 2009 - Travel - LATimes.com

Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

as i told @horrornights via my @isitoctoberyet twitter, i'm so very very excited about the FREAKZ scare zone..i'm a big fan of the 1932 movie and just love that old fashioned creepy carnival style in general

this might be the first year we actually make a concentrated effort to enjoy the street zones at HHN Hollywood

Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

its official! Michael Myers is coming to HHN 09 according to the @HorrorNights twitter page

squee! i LOVED the Halloween section of the old Black Box at the Movieland Wax Museum in Buena Park back in the 1980s, even tho it scared the stuffing outta me. Sounds like they are building a replica of the Myers house and if the facade is anything like the one they did for the Hewitt House for the Texax Chainsaw Massacre maze the last 2 years, i'm ready to be impressed

Should be interesting to see how the MM maze turns out, if it's more of the first two films and less of RZ's crap remake...then Universal could have a pretty awesome maze.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

Myself, Chopper, Beast, Lu, and whoever else we can dig up will be attending HHN on October 9th. Outside of Halloween Haunt, I have never been to a major haunted attraction (and I only went to Haunt twice as a guest before I became a monster). I am really looking forward to it since I've always wanted to go.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

Darkbeers "in the parks" update linked to latimes for the saw maze... I counted 5 times guests will be sprayed with water... and the Valentine maze will have water effects as well.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

After going to HHN for the past couple of years has me expecting to be squirted with water multiple times in all mazes. Nothing new this year with that. Also know that Universal also goes overboard with the chainsaws and I don't think this year is going to be any different.
