Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

The website has gotten the big update, all the mazes, scare zones and shows are now posted.

Looks like Chucky is getting in the spotlight with his own maze "Chucky's Funhouse". Though it seems like he's taking over the House of Horror and putting his own theme onto it.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

Never been to HHN but we are going to be in town for the last week of October. I have 13 and 17 year old girls. HHN sounds great. Are any of the normal rides open? or is it just the scare zones, etc?

Peace.

All the regular rides should be open too but know that the lines for the rides are generally really long.

Employee preview night was AWESOME!

Make sure you don't miss the Rocky Horror Picture Show Tribute - it was such a blast to do the Time Warp in a theater full of maniacs.

Re: Halloween Horror Nights 2009 @ Universal Studios Hollywood

Looks like they gave up on SLAUGTHERWORLD. I heard in years before, the Waterworld area and parking lot level directly under Terminator were mazes. The Parking maze would add some foot traffic in that back area of the park. But Rocky Horror show should fit that bill. Speaking of which, I think the budget for the unsuccessful Slaughterworld gave way to Rocky Horror. Anyone agree?

Oh god, I just found out I'm going with some friends one of the nights. Anyways, I'm so terrified of it, I'm thinking I may have to down a bit of liquid courage at Saddle Ranch beforehand!!

And Chainsaws? Oh no!!! Are they running around with them, or is it true that they only use them to clear out the park at the end of the night?

A WHOLE lotta liquid courage it is, then! I can deal with the imagery, it's the crazy loud sounds that do me in... Oh well, at lest I have Knott's as a minor warmup...

How does the Saw Maze work? Do you get to play any games or is it just a normal Maze? Also how is the Tram?
