Angry Ticket Prices! How is this Fair?

Hey guys so I have an Annual Pass and bought my tickets just a couple of days ago for Universals Halloween Horror Nights for the price of 54 dollars.

Today my friend calls me and tells me to look at the website and the price of tickets dropped to 36 bucks. How the hell is that fair to fans of the park who buy they're tickets early so they can attend the event and they give discounts to people who are buying them a day or two before the event?

I sent an Email to Universal telling how I felt but we all know they wont listen. If they do I'll post they're email up.

Universal is actually pretty decent when it comes to letter complaints. At least in my experience. I was given 4 complimentary tickets once.

But the sad thing is... you're an annual pass holder and you don't need more tickets. You need a refund.

Unfortunately, that's the chance you take. If you wait to buy, the price may drop if not enough tickets are sold. But it also might sell out and you don't get in. OR you buy early, pay the highest price and at least know that you can go even if your chosen night is sold out. It's a gamble and you're paying for the security of knowing you have your ticket in hand.

But maybe Universal will offer you something to make you feel better :-)

Well I can still sell those, these guys last time sold my friend a ticket like this you just have to enter with them, so that would be like a refund. A gift card would be fine with me even.

Re: Ticket Prices! How is this Fair?

We purchased our HHN tix online as soon as they were offered to AP'ers at a discount (pre-event).

Once there, we wanted to add another ticket to our party. They let us add an additional ticket at the discounted pre-event price without a problem.

USH sends us emails about specials and what-not all of the time.

We have been AP'ers of USH since the early 90's and have always been treated fairly by them. Even when we don't ask for special consideration!

The fine folks at DL should get a clue from the USH folks when it comes to customer service...
