Front of the Line pass at Universal Studios.

Hey Everyone!!

I am considering going to Universal Studios this weekend, just for one day. I was considering buying the front of the line pass since its a weekend I was worried of it being busy and me being unable to get much done with crowds.

But maybe I wont need one? Are crowds pretty bad on the weekends around this time of year? I assume with the Haunt going on it may be worse than normal.. But, me, being a universal noob, I am unaware of crowds..

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Front of the Line pass at Universal Studios.

We have annual passes to Universal and there really is not much of a wait.. The biggest line we have ever had was a 20 min wait for the backlot tour.. However we have not gone for the haunt so I am not sure if it will be different. Universal seems to be declining in crowds because of the lack of entertainment and attractions that most other parks have. I hope you have a great time and wish the crowds away for you.

Re: Front of the Line pass at Universal Studios.

I've never used the front of the line passes, I don't think you really need them. As long as you get on The Simpsons pretty early in the day, you shouldn't have any problem getting on everything else.

I would do the Simpsons first then head down to the lower lot and do Mummy, Jurassic Park, Soundstages and Backdraft (if you want). Go back upstairs, do the Tram. Even if it's a long line it generally doesn't take more than 20-25 minutes. Then see the shows up top like Shrek, Creature from the Black Lagoon and Waterworld. Terminator is a "if you have to" attraction at this point.

Terminator 2:3D is a "HAVE TO" wait until November attraction right now...

^^^^^^^

Yeah Matt, what a shock most guests would have if they went into the T-2/3D show expecting to see Arnold and get an eyefull of the Rocky Horror Picture Show Tribute instead!

To answer the OP's question, we have enjoyed USH for over 25 years now and they manage their lines quite nicely. We have never found the need to purchase the FOTL passes.

However, since we're USH fans that want the Park to thrive, don't let us talk you out of buying one! If you get my drift...

Have a blast! (Hey, I know you will...You'll be at USH!!!)

Thanks so much everyone for the responses! I actually had a great time, and did not wait in any lines! Altho we got lucky and a girl in our party knew someone who worked at Universal, so we got some front of the line passes for the mazes!

It was so amazing! I wanna go back
