Sounds like we're getting all-new stuff this year!
i don't think this implies no more Welcome to Hell.....the opening scareamony was more SAW oriented, and led by the pig face chainsaw guys...i'm gonna hope John meant no more pig face characters...and not no more Welcome to Hell

Well all of the themes for the mazes have been locked down this year. This is pretty exciting! June is when we find out what's to come and how many mazes we're getting this year! (Fingers crossed for six.)

Confirmed by Murdy NOT to be there this year:
    - Magic Show on Animal Actors Stage
    - Chucky's Insult Emporium (was kinda hoping for this one)
    - The Exorcist Maze (totally bummed about this one)

That actually gives us a good eye at the event!

I wouldn't speak too soon about the Exorcist just yet... he did say on Twitter he TRIED for years to get that. He never used present tense; so I don't think that means anything.

(By the way Socal said he joined here but I haven't seen him yet. Haven't heard from Wix.)

I don't mean to be a buzzkill but I just don't see Paranormal Activity working as a maze. Who would jump out and scare you? The ghost? All you would feel is just a big air blast and that would be it.

SAW was waaaaaay overused in Haunts across the US. In '08 there was a SAW maze in Sinister Point, last year there were SAW mazes in USH and USF AND two SAW mazes in FrightDome at Vegas. I think SAW has now become a tired-out franchise to use now and because it has at other haunts last year I just don't see it coming back.

Well when he said all the maze themes have been locked down and then said Exorcist he's been trying for and hasn't gotten, I just put two and two together since that pretty much clarifies it, lol

They first appeared for Hellbilly Hoedown as generic pigs. The second appearence for the pigs were as SAW characters. So technically, they are different characters each year.

HHN UPDATE: Murdy just posted a new update on Twitter stating that he just finished ANOTHER maze! 30 pages this time! Sounds pretty long! What do you bet it's the Wolfman? Right now he just made wrote four mazes. I assume that excludes House of Horros and if that's the case, we're getting five this year!

Sounds like we're definately getting six this year. My bet's on a sound stage and the Gibson lawn.

I asked Murdy on Twitter if he could give me a hint on what the maze is...even if it is vague. He said this:

"Vague hints? Hmm...there's blood, there's a killer, and there's teenagers in it. Hope that helps."
