It's an okay park. We had AP's (Buy a day get a year) but we let them expire in Septermber. If they have the deal next year we will probably get them again. It's a short drive for us and it kills a few hours on a Sunday morning.

They do need some new things. Shrek 4D got really old.

What they need to do is something with the Wild Wild West Show space. I personally do not like Backdraft and wish for them to make something USEFUL out of that space. I know it was a good movie, but whenever I go, attendance is always small and they are usually tourists. Be honest, when was the last time you heard someone say "HEY! Let's get to Backdraft before there's a crowd!" .......... exactly

I think they should get rid of Backdraft AND the Special Effects studios. I know some of the stuff is cool, but there could be better and more exciting in it's stead.

Rumor has it that they were thinking of doing a Zorro show in the Wild West arena ... but that was before the new movie all but tanked.

The Animal Planet show also needs to be retooled.

And it's easy for WaterWorld to be voted the best show in the park ... all of the other shows suck.

The rumor is that WW is slated to be closed this winter (perhaps for good). It would be a real shame too. The other shows really aren't very good. I miss the Wild West Show.

My family use to always spent one day at Universal studios until DCA was built. Since then we haven't even been.

I heard the WW show is going away too, it's been going for ten years. I cannot believe it being something else. I wonder what it possibly could be. Another water based show?

My vote is for a Jaws LIVE show! Pick a guest to see if they can out run a shark in the water. Thw winner gets a t-shirt. The loser...well, gets his name on a plaque.

    Any takers???

Maybe they'll put a new Fear Factor Live show there. More room and opportunities with the water...Maybe even a shark themed stunt???

Yeah, I have an AP also, but it's not worth driving there and paying parking to go all the time since it doesn't really have that repetitive power that other parks have.

went to the real US-CA way back in 1978...Man I am getting up there. Can't mess with the real thing, but in recent years I have been to US-FL and still find a few things to excite. Big fan of the Hard Rock Hotel...a resort that is not just for the young into the Rock & Roll theme. I have never been with someone who didn't think T3-D wasn't the coolest. I always have a soft spot for BTTF---it took Star Tours to the next level.
Yea, it needs to add more rides...not really sure what the big deal about Men in Black is? Wish they would bring back the Alfred Hitchcock show.

Screamscape has a story up that what might replace Water World because of the size of the show and surrounding area is that it's big enough to put in the building from IOA in Florida of the Spiderman Attraction. Now that would be cool and really bring in the people who have heard all about this incredible ride, but cannot afford a trip to Florida. This is about the only thing I can think of that would bring Universal Hollywood into being a real Theme Park with a ride like Spiderman.

I would rather go to DCA. universal is interesting and always a nice change(every 5 years) from Disneyland. But I would rather drive to Disneyland to ride all the favorites. Universal can be boring and to me, is not worth the money.
