That was great! I've always been fascinated on how this ride was shot.

Re: Making of Back to the Future: The Ride

If anyone wanted to seek out the entire video this segment comes from, I believe it's called "Cinemagic." It also includes a pretty good behind the scenes look at Jurassic Park, behind the scenes of King Kong & Earthquake plus many other Studio Tour moments, some ET moments, behind the scenes of Waterworld, behind the scenes of Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue, some Wild Wild Wild West Stunt Show moments plus a whole lot more.

I bought it when I was at a trip to Universal, right before they got rid of E.T. It's funny because even back then it seemed pretty old as Beetlejuice was gone and E.T. was about to head out. It's a really great video, I think it's about an hour long.

I think that this may be an older version of the one I have though (as you can see, it says 1992). At that point, Jurassic Park wasn't completed yet and Waterworld wasn't around. Also, from that youtube clip, I don't remember that Spielberg clip but I remember everything else. Maybe they couldn't get him to sign off on the new version? Which is weird, considering he's shown in the ET segment and I think also in the JP segment.

Ah, here it is: Amazon.com: A Universe of Cinemagic (Universal Studios Hollywood Souvenir Video - 1992): John Forsythe: Movies & TV
