That's the patent for the projection dome carousels already used on Forbidden Journey.

So if I'm reading the lengthy patent correctly this is essentially numerous articulated projection domes on a circular track that can move in relation to an equal amount of motion base style attraction vehicles (ie Transformers, Spiderman, Indy etc) to create smooth transitions in and out of the domes?

I don't think that carousel is used in FJ.

Thanks for finding this awesome patent! The projection domes will likely be noticeably more advanced than those used in rides currently.

Darn....was hoping this would be a sign of a new ride before Potterland...really dont want to have to wait 3 years after Transformers for another ride

I think it is for the rumored "Gringott's Bank" coaster planned for phase II of WWoPH. Look at the ride vehicle in the patent. It's not a robo-arm like on FJ, it's a coaster car.
