I read on multiple sites that the Back to the Future ride in Universal Studios Florida is to close early September. And its suppose to be replaced by a Simpsons ride.

At first their were talks of putting in a Fast and Furious ride there. Then with Simpsons I heard of something like the video game Simpsons: Hit and Run
I'm not a huge fan of the BTTF ride ... but it kind of seems to me that the time for a Simpsons ride is long past. Then again, since they are making a Simpsons movie, maybe it is a good time.

There's about a hundred rumors running around the various sites right now ranging from a simple refurb of the ride, to the simpsons, to Fast and the Furious, and even to the Transformers. Personally I've decided just to wait until there's more evidence. So far all we've really heard is mainly just a bunch of uncorroborated running of the mouth. The only thing we do know is that it will close at some point. Whether it will open back up as BTTF, as something else, or not at all is still yet to be seen.
Man I HATED Bttf, it was such trash. I felt ill on it, I could see the screen edges. I'd rather go on Stitches Great Escape and Journey into YOUR imagination.
Yeah, it's had its run.
Time for something new...
I personally think they should put the Adventures of spiderman ride there....that would be awsome
^ The building isn't big enough.

I totally hated this ride! It was so rough and not well done so that I was nausiated and ticked that I had wasted my time. But then again the whole park kind of made me feel that way.
there is a little thing called additions....they could build onto the structure into the courtyard....it is big enough.....and that could solve the problemOriginally Posted by sir clinksalot
^ Good point. But being that the building is located on the edge of a hill (with alot of it going OVER the hill) I'm not so sure they could make the building bigger with CA's earthquake code.

I mean, I'd LOVE to have spiderman out here ... but I honestly don't see it happening anytime soon.
