That building just looks bizarre. All of that clutter just makes it all looked ridiculously forced.

I don't let it slide considering how much anti-Disney propaganda Universal Orlando like to throw at WDW in the press and even within their parks, and if Universal Orlando's management is as intend in eating Disney's proverbial chocolates while emulating their game, they will need to try harder. Given WDW's sorry state of affairs lately, that should not be hard for Universal Orlando to accomplish.

Still.. I reserve judgement until my invitation to preview the ride arrives in the mail in the next few weeks..then we'll see. However, I am not expecting much more than a different movie up on that screen. Anything else they care to add for the sake of theming and possibly.. to improve the in-theater effects.. will be icing on the cake that will make it or break it for me.
So far, I feel the new facade on the building is as loud as the word TACKY typed in caps.

This is more themed than much of Disney's efforts as of late. Short of tearing down the building and starting over I don't know what else they could have done to make it appear to be Krustyland. Its far more than I ever expected.

While I agree, that's kind of the point isn't it? This is Krustyland. He's not really known as being the king of class and fashion.

Well, I would not know. I am not a fan of the Simpson's franchise, nor am I familiar with the secondary cast of characters from the show. This will be a discovery for me once it opens.

I agree with you kcnole! It is quite amazing how TACKY like Krusty it is! You can spell tacKL without KrustY?? eh? eh? eh?

This exterior so far is FAR more than I was expecting! Honestly I was just expecting the blue building with a HUGE Simpson's Banner down the center of the building!

I am thrilled to see it actually be "Krusty Land"

Also keep in mind that the theming is supposedly going to extend beyond just the outside. From what I'm hearing the theming will extend all throughout the queue where you're somehow going to be seeing midway games with barkers made up of characters from the show. I don't know how they plan to pull that off though. I'm hoping for another use of the musion effect or something like that which they did with Disaster. There's not enough info being released yet though.

You know when you are in the queue for Autopia. There are those weird chevron ad's. Think of something like that.

Hopefully you will discover the Simpsons universe in a positive light.

If the attraction delivers, I will say so here, but that is not going to make me fall in love with the Simpsons nor start to watch their show on TV.
