    Some Vinylmation questions.

I have a few questions about Vinylmation.
    What stores sell Vinylmation?
What series will be on sale next week?
How much are 9" figures at the parks?

    Re: Some Vinylmation questions.

Currently here are the stores that sell Vinyls at DLR,

    In Disneyland:
    - The Emporium and Disneyana on Main St.
    - The store right next to the door for Club 33 in New Orleans Square. Its the store where Le Bat en Rouge used to be.
    - Star Trader in Tomorrowland

    In California Adventure:
    - The Greetings from California store to your left right after you enter the park.
    - Off the Page in the Hollywood backlot area.
    - Inside the store at the exit of Tower of Terror.

In Downtown Disney the only place I know for sure is in World of Disney.

Currently the parks have Clear 1, Park 2, Urban 2, and Holiday 1 in the 3¨ figures at the stores. While you will only find Urban 2 in the 9¨ figures and only two designs left at that for those. The 3¨ figures have been at the park for a while so its possible that Park 2 and Urban 2 could possibly be removed to make way for Park 3 and Cutesters which are supposed to come out sometime in Nov or Dec.

The 9¨ figures are typically $39.99, that includes the blank ones that you can paint yourself. However sometimes there are sets that come with a 9¨ and 3¨ figure together. The sets go for $75 I believe.

    Hope that helps!

Vinylmations are sold in quite a few of the stores. IN Disneyland for example, you can find them at the Emporium and Disneyana on Main Street and Star Traders in Tomorrowland. I'm sure they're elsewhere too.

IN DCA you can get them at Greetings from California and Off The Page.

In Downtown Disney you can get them at World of Disney and SOMETIMES Vault 28.

Next Week you will most likely find Urban Series 2, Clear Series & Holiday Series. You may be able to still find Park Series 2, and there might still be some Candy Corn limited tins available. Oh and the blanks, both sizes in boxes are there.

9" are something like $39.99 for a single IIRC. I don't buy them so don't quote me.

(Vinylmation.net is a great resource for Vinylmation collecting BTW, I have the same SN over there).

Oh BTW - I don't ever see VM's being "removed" to make way for other series, they'll be on the shelves until they're sold out.

The reason you havent seen it happen before is because this is the first time the VM people are being confronted with this situation since VM is barely just a year old. Park 1 and Urban 1 sold out quick because not may were made because they werent sure if VM would take off. Park 2 and Urban 2 had more figures produced but infact too many were made. So the VM people are trying to find the ¨sweet spot¨ of how many to produce to meet demand but not too much to have excess sitting on the shelves.

Series's like Clear 1 and Holiday 1 are meant to be sold year-round but the Park and Urban series are meant to have a shelf life of about 4 months assuming the right number to make is found.

With Cutesters and Park 3 about to come out it will just overcome most people to see so many different sets on the shelves and could possibly intimidate them from possibly buying them. So what we could end up seeing is that the Park 2 and Urban 2 thats left could either be sent to the Disney Merch outlets or they could be sent to the Disney.com warehouse and only be available online until they're gone. Afterall those are the two oldest sets and have been out for about 5 or 6 months now.

Well now we've seen what they're planning on doing for older sets that aren't selling as well - they're practically giving away clears...everything else though still appears to be on shelves until completely sold out.

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I never liked the clear ones. I'm not surprised they aren't selling well.

I really like the holiday ones, but they were hard to find and then I got duplicates...*sigh*

Yes, blank white ones have been out for a while. They are making a new set of blank colors as well. I don't think those are out yet.

    Here's the info on them.

The new colored blanks are out, and are actually a really nice presentation in box. I have the red one myself, but I plan on getting more.
