Carsland Rose Parade Float

Does anyone know why The Carsland Float did not win any kind of award? It sure had more going on than those floats that did win. More Animation and More Special Effects than any of the other winners. Did they request to not be considered?

I honestly don't think they were planning to win an award rather than use the float they entered in this year's Rose Parade to promote Cars Land.

By the way, I really did love the float. And of course, it wouldn't be Disney without the use of pyrotechnics.

It was a great float. I loved all the animation.

There's less people standing on the sidelines of the parade than in line at DCA to get on the ride. This might have been the better way to visit Carsland.
