There is a little cafe next to the gift shop at the Museum. It serves pannini sandwiches, salads (sometimes soup), and drinks. I've had a sandwich there a couple of times and it's decent.
There is a little cafe right off of Letterman as you get close to the Museum. I haven't eaten there yet. And there is another place just off Letterman further up.
Lombard is peppered with little places all the way down between Van Ness and the Presidio turn.
No matter what you decide, have fun at the Museum.![]()
Thanks for the advice.

There's a Super 8 on Lombard, probably about 2 miles from the museum, which looks like it would fit you needs.
There's also a Travelodge on Lombard. Looks like its right outside the Presidio gate on Lombard. I haven't stay at that particular TL, but I had pretty good experiences with TL in general.
If you google Motel on Lombard Street, you'll find all of them on Lombard.
hello i am new and visit Disneyland after 3 days with my whole family .you solve my problem thanks for solving my problem dear brother
At the top end of the parking lot, to your right, as you stand on the museum porch, you will see a building with red tile roof, this is The Presidio Bowling Alley. The bowling alley has a nice, and affordible snack bar, with burgers and curley fries! Also, as you stand on the museum porch, look to the left, towards the fire department tower. Next to the fire department, La Terrasse, has very nice food, relatively casual and great views of San Francisco Bay. La Terrasse is a bit expensive.
Gullywhumper is back on the Rivers of America!
Thanks Gullywhumper!
I knew about La Terrasse (which I think I got the street wrong, I believe it's Lincoln right there as you are coming up the the barracks on Montgomery), but I did not know about the Bowling Alley. I'll have to check that out the next time I'm up there.
Well, we ended up staying at the Hilton over by the Airport. It was in South San fransisco so the price was great and it was pretty nice. It was only a 25 min drive in the morning to get to the Museum. For lunch we went to Fentons in Oakland, just after stopping by PIXAR for some photos. What a great trip we had! The Walt Disney Family Museum was amazing!!!
