Well it was bound to happen.

All we need now is a release date and a cast listing.

I thought I'd start the thread so the stuff for the 5th (and 6th) movies don't flood the thread for On Stranger Tides. And when we get a title, will change this thread title as well.

So lets get this party started...

I think they will start filming Pirates 5 and Pirates 6 in 2014 in the "back-to-back" way, and then will release Pirates 5 in 2015 and release Pirates 6 in 2016 or later.

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. Take a one years break between 4 and 5.

I'm all for it!! Bring on 5 and then 6, one every 12 to 18 months, sounds good to me!! Not as keen on the back to back idea....I'm afraid the plots would lose their independence....you know the danger of them sinking into the sunset instead of sailing....BUT I love Pirates!!

Yes, me too!. I think they'll not rush on the filming for Pirates 5 and 6, when they film them both back-to-back, which it was bad that they rushed on the filming, while filming back-to-back for Pirates 2 and Pirates 3. So again, it wasn't bad that they filmed Pirates 2 and 3 back-to-back, what was bad was that they rushed on the filming, while filming Pirates 2 and Pirates 3 back-to-back.

Yes, think so too. I don't see why they wouldn't make more Pirates of the Caribbean movies, even after Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides. They make these movies, if the previous movie before it, made enough money for there to be a sequel to it, and also because they make the money off of these movies too. So, it's like a pattern there, they make the movie, then if it makes enough, they make another one, then that movie makes alot of money, and then they make yet another one, and so on and so forth, see the pattern there ?
