I like Snow White because she's not afraid to be a lady (i.e. doesn't feel the need to be rude to cute boys, loves to sing opera, is super motherly even to "strange little men", is okay with being adorable.) My close second is Eeyore. He doesn't sugarcoat life; just gives it to you straight

I love Timon and Pumba, Mushu, the Genie, Goofy and Donald. There is only one reason I like them, that they are all funny and I admire funny characters mostly.
i used to like tinkerbell, but old-school-original-snooty tinkerbell, not the new(er) CGI version of her. she's too sweet... i liked that she was so sassy!
of course, there's some little girl still inside my head that gets excited when i see any of the princesses... i was so nervous the last time i saw jasmine, because she was so beautiful... talk about being intimidated by another woman! :P
and, as always, there's something about seeing the original and the best whe you visit the park: mickey mouse!

Tis absolutely mind-bogglin' for me to think about just how many Disney characters have entered my heart over the years...and never left. To pick a favorite is a task too big for me...
However, when faced with such a large group of wonderful characters I suppose one must say somethin' like "take me to your leader."
We all know who that is...
Those of us who grew up way back in the 1950's fondly remember a song that included the words "Forever let us hold our banner high!"
But, as I say, my heart is really FULL of Disney characters...Snow White and Seven Dwarfs are in there, Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio, Bambi, Dumbo...and, ah yes, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.
All those princesses are in there, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, the Fairy Godmother, Lady and the Tramp, Baloo, King Louie, Merlin, Robin Hood, Aladdin...
Tow-mater is in there, and Carl Fredrickson and Russell and Dug and Kevin, and Ariel and Flounder and Sabastian...
It would be easier I think to answer, which Disney Characters are not in there...you know, not in my heart. The only answer to that that I can come up with is the ones I haven't met yet.
Some questions are just too hard to get a handle on I guess, and this here is one of 'em. Ya know, magic happens in the most amazing ways sometimes...now, understand that I'm a grizzled Ol' timer, not very purty at all ya might say...and on my last trip to Walt Disney World Goofy shook my hand and...Minnie Mouse herself hugged me! Me! That meant more than that little lady could ever possibly know...
When I think about how much joy all these characters have brought into our lifetimes it boggles the mind...and warms the heart.
Walt used to say "it all started with a mouse". So...thanks Mickey...and God Bless them all!

I have always loved Jiminy Cricket, and that doesn't necessarily go back to seeing him in Pinocchio. Rather, I remember him doing those "I'm No Fool" spots on The Mickey Mouse Club.

When you think back, the Walt Disney Studio sure has brought some mighty beautiful things into this ol' world of ours. We know their stories...because their stories have so enriched our lives...their stories have touched our hearts and become a very real part of who we are inside.
