Gaiman's 'The Graveyard Book' Breathes New Life at Disney
Neil Gaiman's book, 'The Graveyard Book' had been acquired by Disney in April of 2012 to be developed as a stop-motion feature by Director Henry Selick of 'Nightmare Before Christmas' and 'Coraline' fame. Last year when his new project, also a stop-motion film, was halted in pre-production by Disney those plans were put on hold.
It was reported today in industry trades that 'The Graveyard Book' might be brought to big screen life yet, in a totally different body. Academy Award-winning Director Ron Howard is said to be in negotiations to direct it as a live-action feature.
