    Celebrate Oscar® Week at the Academy

    BEVERLY HILLS, CA – In the week leading up to the Oscars®, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present five public events celebrating this year’s nominees. The Oscar Week events will feature screenings, film clips, and discussions with filmmakers and artists whose work has garnered nominations in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary, Foreign Language Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, and Short Film categories. All events will take place at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

    Tuesday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m.
    Samuel Goldwyn Theater
    Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
    All seating is unreserved.

    THE 2012 ANIMATED AND LIVE ACTION SHORT FILM NOMINEES

    Hosted by actor Jason Schwartzman

    Our Oscar Week public events kick off with screenings of all the nominated films in the Animated and Live Action Short Film categories, plus an onstage discussion with the filmmakers (schedules permitting).

    TICKETS $5 general admission/$3 for Academy members and students with a valid ID. Limit 4.


    The 2012 Animated Feature Film Nominees

    Hosted by Actor Rob Riggle

    Join us to celebrate the work of this year’s Oscar nominees in the Animated Feature Film category. The nominees (schedules permitting) will discuss how their films were developed, talk about their creative processes, and present clips illustrating their techniques.

    The Animated Feature Film nominees are:
