Gary Wright recently put out an article with his thoughts that we may very well be in a "New Disney Renaissance" with films like Tangled and Wreck-It Ralph.

Personally, I feel like he is a little off the mark in his description of the way some of the more recent films were received critically and with the public. He also doesn't address the fact directly that the Walt Disney Company essentially wiped out its hand drawn animation department, a travesty in my mind.
