    Gnomeo and Juliet

Pretty forgettable. What a waste of talent. Animation stinks. Need I say more?

THE TOWN -- Really interesting and well scripted thriller. I liked it a lot.

THE DARK CRYSTAL -- I never saw this freaky puppet movie of the 80s and yah... great production design but just a little too creepy and slow for my tastes.

    Nowhere Boy

Thought it was amazing. I don't understand why this movie hasn't been talked about more. Perfect casting, great music and a great story about Lennon growing up that most people probably don't know about. See it ... NOW!

    The Town

I thought it was good. Not sure if it's as good as it's been hyped up to be, but it was a good heist movie, better than most. Didn't think Jeremy Renner was all that great in it (at least not great enough for an Oscar Nomination) if I'm being completely honest.

I think he was solid. And, if he was playing a character that is completely out of his element, the Academy likes to shine on those.

CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS -- I love this movie. 2nd time viewing and it still holds up for me. It just has the perfect level of silliness and random humor that tickles me just right.

WALLACE AND GROMIT: A MATTER OF LOAF AND DEATH -- I can't remember if that's the exact title but it's a half hour claymation movie and entertaining from beginning to end. I love Wallace & Gromit.

I finally got to see Tangled last night at the $2 theater. I thought it was really cute. I want the soundtrack. I also want to borrow Rapunzel just for a few hours. Everything she gets done before 7am....boy could I put her to use!

Everybody I've talked to who has seen this has really enjoyed it (myself included). Sad that it didn't do better in the Box Office. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing that cast together again.

Sesame Street presents: Follow that Bird

I loved it as a kid and I found it on youtube. The watching in 5 minute pieces was a bit annoying but can't beat free. Still love this movie.

I loved it as well. Awesome casting, great writing, just plain fun.

I just saw The Other Guys. Loved it. Kept me laughing, had a good plot and didn't slow down. Farrell and Wahlberg were great together. Again, not the greatest film ever made, but a solid action/comedy.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Just Go With It. Had a few laughs. If you just want to watch it for Brooklyn Decker and Jennifer Aniston, then it's well worth it.

Nowhere Boy-Slow in the beginning and it kept my interest only because I love John Lennon. It was a good movie. Julia died so young...very sad.

Harum Scarum-Not really Elvis Presley's best movies.Mary Ann Mobley was so gorgeous.

King Creole-This has to be Elvis Presley's best movie ever made. Carolyn Jones is Elvis's love interest. It was weird to see her out of Addam's Family character. Carolyn was great in this movie.

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.- Clint was so hot. Good movie...though 3 hours long?

    Body Heat-Good movie...Kathleen Turner..Evil

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON -- I felt bad that I favored Toy Story 3 so highly so I had to give this another go. I had liked it in the theater but didn't feel that it was ALL THAT. Second time, very entertaining and fun but I still need to give it to Toy Story 3 for its complex emotional arc. Dragon is probably a movie that is more entertaining to the younger audience though.

One main critique of Dragon: the very very end... when the title shows up. So abrupt and poorly timed.

Black Swan -- truly disturbing. I highly recommend it

The King's Speech -- not so disturbing, but still very good. Three (maybe more) Potter actors sighted. As someone who still gets butterflies before speaking publicly -- and I was a teacher for three years -- I empathize with the King.
