Watched about 8 minutes of Twilight, and all I could say was.....
LAME!
With a capital L for lousy!
Pasty, deathly white kids running around spreading their angst everywhere. Endless crying, whining and over-bitching from basically the entire cast. Lacking any sort of human characteristics. No way the average 12-14-year-old girl can this depressed!

The Princess and The Frog. really enjoyed it!
this film was a lot of fun, and although i would not rank it along w/ films like the lion king, or beauty in the beast, i'd say it comes in under aladdin. probably on tarzan's and mulan's shoulders (i loved mulan although it left me a little unsatisfied). and enjoyed it more than pocahontas and much better than brother bear (which is find beautiful but was missing something, must be too much phil collins).
dr. facilier's song and tiana's almost there were probably the best numbers. they both have beautiful artistic styles to them.
Spoiler
did anyone else think of neverland (second star to the right) when they saw ray in the sky w/ his other star?

So last night we watched 3, never done 3 before but it was a well deserved relaxation time!
1st We watched 2012 since he had never seen it before, Ill admit I liked it better the 2nd time however I still wouldnt tell people to pay $12 to see it.
2nd The Blind Side, oh my word I cried so much in this movie. This movie deserves two thumbs up! I will see it more times in the theater and buy it when it comes out on dvd! We both thought this movie was great, it touched our hearts to be better Christians in accepting and loving everyone. Very very good morals to the movie. Based on a true story as well. I loved it.
3rD New Moon- very disappointed. I havent read the books although I hear the books are far more greater than the movies.... We both had the same views about this movie. I thought it was rather boring. I know all my friends gave this movie two thumbs up but honestly 17 year old boys without shirts just doesnt do it for me.... Thats all the ladies at work talked about, but yeah the whole muscle scenes with no shirts didnt make the movie any better for me...but serisoulsy overall New Moon.... very disappointed. Too much hype for that movie.

Watching HOME ALONE while waiting for my potatoes to soften.

Just saw Transformers 2 couple weeks ago and I liked it. But there are a few things I did not enjoy like the overuse of sex and drugs jokes and the lack of screen time for other robots. Overall I think it's an alright movie. Hate me if you will.

Watched Disney's "Old Guys" tonight, wasn't that funny.

Last night on DVD I watched:
Angels and Demons -Extended Edition - It was bloodier than the theatrical version. The theatrical version was rated PG-13 and the extended DVD is unrated. The Hassassin really goes to town on the Vatican cops. Inspector Olivetti's demise is more graphic. Much more fast-paced than the Da Vinci Code. The extended edition actually upped the thriller factor of this one. I wonder when Opie will get to work on The Lost Symbol?

Last night I watched Treasure Planet in honor of it's seventh anniversary. :D Love that movie so much. Pirates in Space, what's better than that? :))
oh and Wednesday night I saw The Princess and the Frog at the Disney Studios! AMAZING movie. Loved every minute of it. I'm definitely going to see it again when it comes out December 11th. :D 13 more days!!! :))

Finally saw Angels and Demons last night. It was better than the first one, I thought.
Re: The "What Movie Did You Just See?" thread RELOADED
The last movie I watched at home was The Little Mermaid...
I don't remember the last movie I've seen in movie theaters....

That was a great movie because they finally made a movie anyone could enjoy without being a trekkie. (And I am a trekkie lol).
We just saw 2012. A fun disaster movie. You can't go in expecting a great drama or you're going to be disappointed. But as a disaster movie, it's up there, right below Independence Day on my list. Would give many things to have been able to have worked on that movie.
