I watched Fast Five last weekend, it was really good!!! Action is present through out the whole film. Not as much racing as the other Fast n Furious movies, but it still has some great characters and a great story.... (:

    Thor

Really enjoyed it. Thought it was very well done and I loved how they did the back-story.

One thing though, and I think this was just our theater, the volume of the SFX were REALLY loud in our show, to the point of annoyance. Others have said they didn't experience this, so I think it may have just been our theater.

The sequel to THOR is essentially THE AVENGERS. HOpe you stayed through the credits!

You mean we're gonna get to see Mrs Peel and Mr. Steed? Is Sean Connery back?

    Bunch of stuff I watched:

    On Blu-Ray

Watchmen (Director's Cut) - Finally got around to seeing it. Wow, pretty graphic. But a good movie.

    Batman Begins
The Dark Knight - both look awesome in HD. Can't wait for the 3rd next year.

National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets - Fun popcorn flick. Looking forward to the 3rd one. Want to know finally what's on Page 47.

    At the Theater:

African Cats - 2nd time seeing it. Nice movie. I just wish more people went out to see it.

Fast Five - This is the first Fast and Furious movie I've seen. Cool car chases and lots of destruction. Now I want to see the first 4.

Pretty good after-credit scene. Best still has to go to the first Iron Man.

It's funny to me how many people leave the theater before the credits are done. Don't they know that the Marvel movies all have this, and that if the theater doesn't turn on the lights there is more?

At the request of MMP we stayed. They said THOR will return in the Avengers- which is next year. And it was cool seeing Nick Fury.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 - Finally watched my Blu-ray of it. It's a little long to watch now, now that I've already scene it once when it was in theatres. But it was good to see it again, especially the animation of The Tale of the Three Brothers.

THE KING'S SPEECH -- Very well done, entertaining film. I li-li-liked it a lot!

MACHETE -- This is such a sexy, entertaining Mexploitation movie. So much fun.

I saw the last 45 seconds of "Sleepaway Camp" last night (horror movie from the 80's). That was enough. No need to see the rest.

    HIGHLY DISTURBING AND MESSED UP!!!

I did NOT sleep good after seeing that. I need brain bleach.

Re: The "What Movie Did You Just See?" thread RELOADED

DUE DATE -- GUH, not funny enough. Sometimes these movies just get more annoying in their "wouldn't it be terrible if..." and they pile it on. But when the movie is filmed playing it for real, it becomes a nightmare. Due Date is a road trip from hell and I didn't enjoy it. I chuckled twice at inappropriate comments but man... it was just one thing after another and it was trying my patience.

TRUE LEGEND -- The trailer says "from the creators of Kill Bill, Matrix Trilogy, and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon".... but it's just the stunt choreographer and while he really is a master, this film was lacking in quite a bit. The choreography is okay but with such a ridiculous story, annoying child that cries in every scene, way-too-much CG, it makes you long for something like Ip Man or even Iron Monkey. I don't recommend seeing this in the theater.

Two nights ago at the theater...

Thor - Really liked it. Lots of fun. Will be adding it to my Avengers Blu/DVD library. As for the ending, and heading towards The Avengers:
    Spoiler
Will it feature Loki and the Cosmic Cube?

    or
will it feature Dr. Sterns/Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) as the Villain
    or
Mandarin from the first Iron Man?
    or
something from Captain America which we haven't seen yet?

As far as Thor's story goes, where in the timeline does it take place? The Incredible Hulk storyline was taking place after Iron Man 2 right? So where does Thor fit in?

Thor was great, now bring on X-Men and Cap!

From the Rumors I've heard...yes to both the questions you had in your Spoiler Tag

I just say Bridesmaid....wow it was funny, funniest thing I've seen in a while.
