X-Men - BestBuy.com has the trilogy on sale for thirty-five bucks that I used a gift card from Christmas on. It's been years since I last saw it. It holds up really well and it looks better than I expected on Blu-ray.

Wolfman (1941 Version with Lon Chaney)
I hadn't seen it in probably 20 years, but wanted to "Refresh" my memory since we just saw the new one. Honestly ... I know the original is a classic, but the new one is SO MUCH better. When it was over my son said it wasn't scary, but cheesy. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, most of the old monster movies were and that's fine.
Also, for all the complaints about Benecio Del Toro's lack of an english accent, well, Lon Chaney didn't have one either. The story is somewhat similar to the new one, but I think the newer version has more of a twist (the original didn't have any).
Still, it's a great part of the classic Universal Library, but I would like to see it get a nice cleaning up for if/when it comes out on Blu Ray. The DVD transer wasn't great.

Whatever Works. I haven't seen a bunch of Woody Allen movies, but I've seen enough to recognize his style and the repeated elements in his movie and this movie didn't disappoint. It was entertaining and I really liked it.

One is obviously better than the other.
X2: X-Men United - Wow, I can't believe how much I'd forgotten about this movie. I completely forgot Nightcrawler was in it!? Sad, but true.Definitely a much deeper story than the first, but both are fantastic. Seeing the dam bursting at the end reminded me of Superman: The Movie, which led to Superman Returns, which led to me thinking why Singer didn't open his Superman movie with great action sequences like he did for his X-Men movies. There was the poignant and dramatic introduction of Magneto in the first one, and the attack on the President in X2. In Returns, we get a bedroom with two people moving nothing more than their lips. Weak.
