Re: The "What Movie Did You Just See?" thread RELOADED

I've seen a few movies recently...

On Valentines Day we watched "Valentines Day" it was ok. It had a great couple of celebrities, (I'm a huge huge fan of Eric Dane & Bradley Cooper) Very good looking men. Jessica Alba is always beautiful although I thought her hair blended in too much with her tan skin. Jennifer Garner was really cute and I normally dont like her movies. And I LOVED LOVED LOVED the bloopers at the end with Julia Roberts in reference to Rodeo Drive! (It was comment in reference to Pretty Woman movie)

Oops, getting off subject, about the movie it was ok, its not a movie you ever want to go on a date with or take your boyfriend.girlfriend too!. I felt it was more about cheating than anything else (def not a movie you wanted to see on VDAY!!!) Oh well though it had its moments of laughter though too, you gotta love George Lopez! ha ha ha..

We also watched "Dear John" Why didnt I pay attention to the title?!!! Forgot the main actors name, really good actor. But thought the acting in this movie was horrible, and the movie dragged. The girl def loved "John" but in the end she leaves him for another man?!!!!... Confusing!!!! NO COMPARISSON TO THE NOTEBOOK!!!! Save your money!!!

Inglorious Basterds, finally. There is something really satisfying about the rewriting of history in this movie. Christoph Waltz was awesome and I hope he gets the Oscar for his role.

Christoph Waltz was honestly the absolute best part of the movie for me. I was intimidated by him just watching the movie! The man is amazing! I am 99.9999% positive he will give the Oscar for Best Supporting.

I just watched Clueless on cable. Now I'm watching the end of Legally Blonde.

I love guilty pleasure movie days.

Dante's Peak was on AMC last night. I forgot how absolutely ridiculous it was.

Marie Antoinette - I didn't like it. It deserved poor reviews. Poor choices of music and wasn't serious enough.

Now I'm going to watch this movie called Nero.

I'm watching these History folks type movies.

The Informant with Matt Damon. I'll have to admit, I fell asleep 1/4 of the way through (blame it on the 5:00am wakeup times the last couple of days), so I can't really give it a good review. The parts I did see though were quite good. Seeing Matt Damon with Scott Bakula, Joel MacHale, etc. was entertaining. I'll have to give it another try soon.

Shutter Island. It was brilliant. I really want to read the book now.

I admit, I haven't watched a movie in about 3 weeks because of a little event we just had here in BC, but tonight, as a rental I watched The Hurt Locker. Very good movie. Hope it gets some Oscars.

Moon with Sam Rockwell and Kevin Spacey. Reminded me a lot of 2001: A Space Odyssey (the main characters are an astronaut and his computer). It was a very good Sci-Fi movie, arguably one of the best I've seen in a while.

    2012

Pure disaster movie cheesiness (and I mean that in a good way).

    Far fetched - check
    Mediocre acting - check
Saving of animals at the last second - check
