Nah, it's okay. I think I owe it to see a good quality dvd.

    Waking Sleeping Beauty.

Definitely worth the price of admission for the vintage footage and the section with Howard Ashman alone. If you like Disney animation at all, see it, whenever you can.

Re: The "What Movie Did You Just See?" thread RELOADED

Since the Olympics ended I got back into watching some movies...

    On DVD:

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - I only saw about a third of this movie before. I finally got around to seeing it right from the beginning. Great movie. No wonder it's in IMDB's top ten.

Crimson Tide - Good movie. Haven't seen it since it was in theaters.

The Princess and the Frog - 2nd time watching it. Great movie. Love the music.

The Crocodile Dundee Trilogy - Haven't seen these in ages. The first two were good, but the third...

The Bourne Trilogy - I haven't seen any of them since they were in the theater. Great movies. I wonder if they'll make a 4th - they're talking about turning one of the non-Robert Ludlum Bourne books into a movie.

    At the theater this evening...

Green Zone - Good movie, but I'm on Matt Damon overload right now after watching four movies in a row with him.

Sometime this week I'm hoping to catch showings of Alice in Wonderland and Hot Tub Time Machine.

Clash of the Titans (1981)- It was a very slow pace movie with cheesy graphics. Even to me the acting was sort of horrible. Now I know why this movie is a cult favorite, because not everyone likes it. It was like Beast Master, but only worst.

    The Informant

I fell asleep watching it but what I saw of it wasn't very interesting or funny. Reminded me a little of Burn After Reading. The Trailers made it look like one thing while the movie was stupid and unwatchable.

Last I read, Greengrass and Damon were done with Bourne, since all of his character's questions have pretty much been answered. But Damon suggested Universal do a prequel trilogy with a new, younger cast.

That's interesting; thanks for the warning. My geek friends are hot to watch this at midnight this week, but as of this morning, I still couldn't find tickets online to buy for us at our favorite premium theatres. Wonder if that's some sort of sign…

I forgot in my list above, somewhere in there I also watched on DVD:

Superman - I haven't seen it in years - could be at least 20 years. I picked up that DVD set of all four Superman movies at Walmart for $9.99 so I'm going to watch them all. Fun movie! No one can top Christopher Reeve as Superman. Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor is great - I coud see Kevin Spacey trying to emulate him in the new movie that came out a few years ago. The only one from the Christopher Reeve series that I saw theatrically was IV. I can't remember the third one much and I hardly remember the 2nd one. I do recall they got cheesier as they progressed. On a side note, I got a good laugh about something. Critics dubbed our cauldron at the Vancouver winter games the Fortress of Solitude, after watching the movie, now I see why.

Glory Road. First time seeing this since it opened in 06. Very good movie! Good mixture of comedy and drama.

HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON -- It's solid. Not my absolute favorite Dreamworks film but it's probably my 2nd favorite Dreamworks film. Very entertaining.

I wasn't interested in this, but I've been hearing a LOT of good things about it. May have to check it out. Out of curiosity, what's your #1 dreamworks film? As long as you don't say Madagascar, Shark Tale or that other one with Bruce Willis we are still cool.

    Army of Darkness

I hadn't seen this one in a LONG time, still great cheesy goodness.

I agree with you on Shark Tale.

I would rank the Dreamworks movies like this (haven't seen Dragons yet)

    1) Shrek (I just love this movie, Donkey and Shrek make a great team)
    2) Kung Fu Panda
    3) Shrek 2
    4) Monsters vs. Aliens
    5) Prince of Egypt (glad I'm not the only one who likes this)
    6) Shrek 3
    50) Bee Movie, Over the Hedge, Sinbad
    75) Spirit,
    10,000) Madagascar, Madagascar 2
    1,000,000) Shark Tale
