Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: Pretty good movie although the pacing was really off and got kinda repetative. I only liked 4 of the 7 evil exes. I have to admit I have never seen with such a cool look to it. I also quite enjoyed Michael Cera's performance even though it is similar to other movies. All in all I would give it 7.5/10

What's Eating Gilbert Grape with Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio. They both give a great performance. Leonardo is very believable. It's a very touching and moving film.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I reserve full judgment until I see it again, because I tend to not like any movie that much the first time I see it. But I thought it was pretty good. It certainly brought back some memories of high school, and I swear almost every character was either like me or someone I know.

Very pretty movie, and I bought both the soundtrack and score today and thought about it all day, so... I guess I liked it quite a bit.

Some people probably won't like it, though. I think it's one of those "you like it or you don't" movies.

Salt. Good performance by Angelina Jolie that makes this film watchable. I think however that plots like these where not everything is as it seems are actually becoming a bit predictable, as there wasn't much surprise for me beyond the beginning scene. As a moviegoer, I seem to have become a bit desensitized recently. Action like this I would have enjoyed a lot before is starting to feel a bit ordinary now. I feel sad about that.

    Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

sort of. i watched it in downtown disney, the 10:30pm show, and 10 min. before the movie is finished, the fire alarm goes off and we all had to be evacuated!! ugghhh, i don't know how it ends. we did get free passes but still! somebody have better spontaneously combusted or something because if not the evacuation is so not worth the trouble!! >: (

and it is an awesome movie, i really like the 93% that i've seen.

DINOSAUR - Still going on my chronological Disney animated film list and this is a film that really isn't terrible, it just has some annoying voice acting and questionable character animation (Zini the monkey in particular looks downright weird when he talks). I still stand by what I said when I first saw it in 2000: it would have been better as a silent film.

    Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

I enjoyed this a hell of a lot. I like not everyone in it is "likeable" all the time, more realistic in terms of people in relationships, and the insane fights are fun the most if you don't take them "literally", but instead as what Scott sees himself having to do to make this relationship "work". I loved the insane Bollywood song/fight and the hipster demon girls, the giant hammer/hot topic belt fight, and Nega-Scott was hilarious. Brunch, anyone?

I need to re-watch some of the older Depp films. It's been awhile.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels- One of my top five favorite movies. With Steve Martin and Michael Caine playing confidence men on the French Riviera, the movie is two great actors playing off of each other with some beautiful scenery surrounding them.

Lost in Translation- Probably my favorite movie, so I end up watching it several times in a row every month or two. Still makes me want to visit Tokyo every time.

Also, neither of these movies have Blu-Ray releases, which still depresses me.

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World- Full reaction/review available here, but short version, I loved the movie, and found the mix of rock music, video games, and romantic comedies perfect. It's definitely not a movie for everyone, but if you're even mildly interested I say go see it. Kieran Culkin's character alone is worth the price of admission.

Kick A$$- A crazy fun/action packed movie with a good story line. This movie is Rated R, so parents use your discretion wisely. I thought it was really good with great characters.

    Prop 8 Mormon Proposition documentary
    - informative-I got emotional on this one.

Working Girl-Bad hair days movie. lol I liked this move. I love to hate Signourney Weaver's character.

Saw that on last night! It was great - didn't really expect the gory murderous scenes though. Still, it was great.
