I watched The Road this weekend. I think my husband is still mad at me for making him watch "the most depressing movie ever!"He had a really hard time not putting himself in the movie and thinking about our son. I thought it was a great adaptation of the book and it does put you into all of these "What would *I* do?" scenarios in your head.

The Man Who Cried - It was a free view on Hulu and it had Johnny Depp in it so why not. It was interesting to say the least. It was pretty sad, but Johnny looked super hot and he was a gypsy.
Speak - A Kristen Stewart film from years ago. This one was pretty interesting but sad. It's funny seeing Kristen Stewart act years ago because she's basically the same.
Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken - One of my absolute Disney faves from the early 90's. It's right up there with Newsies. And I adore the 1930's. I love that this is based on a true story. I never knew that when I was a kid.
Watched GI Joe and Gamer. Gamer was ridiculous. GI Joe was actually pretty good. A decent movie made out of an 80s cartoon. Worth watching in my opinion.

Scott Pilgrim vs The World - awesome! What a clever, fun movie. AND, it looked just like the graphic novels, which rocked my world.

I saw Scott Pilgram Vs The World last Friday. It is a terrific movie. It may be my favorite film this summer. Yep I liked it more than TS3.
Dinner for Schmucks - I embarrassed myself by laughing much too loudly and uncontrollably in the theater from beginning to end. I went in with very low expectations....and left feeling like my fiance's money was very well spent haha

scott pilgrim vs the world. i thought the movie was kinda weird. maybe im not in too big on games and comics that much lol. I'll have to see it again to understand it more better.
I would really like to read the book. Books are usually better because there's more detail and I'm a detail person.
Hey now. She's my girl. And not just because she's in Twilight. I just like her awkwardness so much. She's raw and vulnerable and may come across relatively the same in many of her movies but I kind of like that because it's almost like she's just being herself rather than playing a character.Because she can't act?
Swing Kids - Took your recommendation SirClinks and I was not disappointed. Besides dreamy Christian Bale, there's a young Noah Wyle as well. It's truly heart wrenching seeing the destruction and devastation of Nazi Germany in the 1930's.

The Fourth Kind - Interesting movie. Very X-Files-ish. So if you liked the X-Files, you'll like this one.
At the theater tonight:
The Expendables - It was my b-day today so we did a dinner and movie. It was great! If you love all the old school action movies from the 80s and 90s, you'll like this one. Just a note, if you are expecting big roles for Willis and Schwarzenegger, don't. They're only in it for about 1 or 2 minutes. However, a joke related to Schwarzenegger got the biggest laugh from the whole theater. There was a great scene with Terry Crews as well. Looking forward to a sequel if they do one.
