Yeah, I've heard it wasn't very good. But the movie made a boat-load of $$ and until people stop paying, Dreamworks won't stop making mediocre movies.

Disappointing really, because the premise looked so promising. Should I $1 theater this one?

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

Getting bad reviews and negative word-of-mouth hasn't stopped films like Transformers and Transformers: ROTF make bank either (I saw TF but completely passed on T:ROTF). So just add this to the list that millions of US audiences like to spend money on. Same with 3D movies, they don't automatically flip my switch either. I don't get it at all, but maybe I'm just old and the younguns like it that way.

Back to the Future - Part II - Still my least favorite of the trilogy. It's just too confusing to me, not as polished and buttoned-up detail-wise as the original script was. And I will admit I spent a fair amount of time studying Lea's "work" in high def to look for seamlines. Also, never realized how over-the-top Shue played her role. Bummed there was only one bonus feature to watch afterwards. But the Physics bonus feature was definitely very interesting to watch; the professor's enthusiasm help make it especially entertaining.

    In the theaters:

RED - Pretty good movie. Malkovich is hilarious in this. Seeing Helen Mirren firing off a big gun makes you think she could have a role in The Expendables 2.

it was another Dreamworks Animation mediocre film... *sigh* Dreamworks Animation has great ideas, or at least it seems like it in concept stage. but this, like Monsters vs. Aliens, falls pretty flat. halfway into it, i didn't even care how it was going to end.

    .
I know, I sorta feel bad for not getting into it as much as I should have! That or I was just super duper tired when I watched it a second time around.

    Premise. Looked. Promising?

That does not compute to me because the moment I saw the first anything promo of it, I felt "ugh".
