G.I. Joe Retaliation pushed back to 2013

Tried to add this to the thread I started a few months ago, but it's locked up. (one of the mods unlocked it for me, but it appears to still be locked up for me. So if the mods want to merge this thread with the other one, go for it.)

Anyway, G.I. Joe Retaliation has been pushed back to 2013 - supposedly for 3D conversion and some reshoots.

This sucks. I was looking forward to this one more than Hasbro's other movie in theaters right now, Battleship.

WHAAAT?!? I just saw the trailer the other day. It looks INTENSE. I was looking forward to seeing it at the end of June. Now they're pushing it back to March of next year? UGGGGGHHHH!!!!

3D's a cute gimmick, but c'mon, that many months for a 3D conversion, and they only thought of doing it now?

Well, gee, now I don't know. Maybe I should just wait for it on Netflix. I never did see the first one anyway.

Way to kill interest in a movie, Paramount.

    So stupid.

But honestly, I think it has more to do with the sting from Battleship than any 3D conversion. Studio probably doesn't want any bad taste in people's mouth from that impacting GI Joe.

I was looking forward to seeing this. The month of March only works for blockbuster features if it's a literary adaption and recent bestseller (which "The Hunger Games" was.)

Now the Tower of Sauron has fallen
Also, this picture and my Avatar was taken with a Nintendo DSi System and Nyko Magnification Lens & Case for DSi.
