Friday night was date night in the coastierox household... It was my turn to take my daughter and my son went out with my wife. After finally deciding what we were going to do we all piled in the car and headed down to Downtown Disney (my daughter also wanted to buy a Stitch with her allowance). From there we split up (well after i went back out to the car to get nessa's phone). My little girl and I wasn't too sure where we wanted to eat so we walked around for a little while and found that apparently 7 o'clock is when everyone eats on a Friday. Planet Hollywierd had a 40 minute wait! Well needless to say that with a hungry little girl who ulterior motive was to buy a Stitch doll that just wouldn't do. We walked back to Earl of Sandwich, got a couple of awesome sandwiches and then went to World of Disney. She got her Stitch and we waked around, visited with each other and found a great Hidden Mickey on the Carousel (with a little help from Steven M Baret). When we met up with my son and my wife later on they had a similar night, after waiting in line for the Rain Forest Cafe for a bit they gave up and went to Earl of Sandwich as well.
It's nice living this close to Disney and being able to take my kids there. We would've had our AP's by now if the transmission in my Jeep didn't burn up on me, oh well, we'll get them soon. We're excited to be able to take the kids on "dates" in the parks, until then I guess it is the ol' "yet so far away."
