Sad Downtown Disney story

A registered sex offender groped an 11-year-old girl at Downtown Disney early Wednesday, deputies said. Orange County deputies arrested Jose Angel Pamblanco Morales, 24, on a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under 12. He was held without bail at the Orange County Jail. Deputies received the call to Downtown Disney Westside shortly after midnight. Morales had left that area and was spotted in front of the BET Club at Pleasure Island. The victim identified Morales as the man who grabbed her. Morales, of Vista Palma Way in Orlando, was arrested in 2004 on charges of lewd and lascivious exhibition of a child under 16 and exposure of sexual organs, State Attorney's Office spokeswoman Danielle Tavernier said. He was sentenced to three years but served 17 months and was released in May 2007.

I do not see why you did not want to post this. This is news and filth like this on WDW property needs to be known. Hopefully parents will be more responsible with their children while visiting and not let them out of their sight, or better yet, their hotel rroms.

I agree. Although, it wouldn't be much fun to go to WDW and not get to leave your hotel room.

Seriously, It drives me crazy to see parents that think that just because someplace is geared towards kids...that they are perfectly same. Maybe I'm just overprotective...but, I keep an eye on my kid EVERYWHERE. Even at Chuck E Cheese, I'm two steps behind her.

Oh really do you have anything to back up that statement. While this kind of news is awful in many ways I don't believe it has anything to do with managements decision to close PI.

It happened at Downtown Disney, not PI. They later caught the guy when he was at PI.
