Trip Report Late June, Early July Pictures of Epcot Resort Area

Here are some pictures taken from June 2008, and July 2008.

^ Enjoyable walk on the boardwalk

^ Dueling Pianos

^ Atlantic Dance Club

^ General Store (4 pack of batteries for 15$?!)

^ ESPN ZONE

^ Yacht Club staining floor!

^ What a beautiful hotel.

^ A desk <GASP>!

^ Most beautiful staircase ever walked on.

I am assuming that's also the boardwalk I have heard so much about.

Okay, I've got to ask...how long have they been using Walt as a character in the parades? I find that kind of....well, tacky.

The dancers are great though! How long is the "When You Wish Upon a Newsy" parade supposed to be going on? I'd like to see it when I go in October.

I personally like the Walt character in the Dreams Come True Parade. It's a nice touch.

Nice! I took a peek around the Beach Club back in May and thought it was very pretty. Nice to see what the Yacht Club looks like too.

Tyrone it was the left of Town Square Exposition Hall, it was like a pavilion garden type area, I don't lnow what it's called though.

First off, I love the pictures! You captured some excellent moments.

However, I must agree with Tyrone Shoelaces about the Walt character in the parade. I prefer in thinking of Walt's spirit as living on and not having some face character there. It's just weird to me and is distracting as a reminder that he has indeed passed on and no longer strolls within his parks. I don't hate the inclusion of him in the parade...I just find it weird and slightly distasteful. Little nods to Walt are always nice, like the light turned on for him in his old apt. above the Firehouse in Disneyland, but this is a bit weird. They chose a good looking guy to play the part though.
