Disneytim's WDW Golf Adventure . . . in Kinda Sorta Real Time

I've been in Florida this week attending a business conference, but at noon today business is done baby! I'M GOING TO WALT DISNEY WORLD!!!

There'll be plenty of time spent in the parks, but I'll also be playing a lot of golf. In fact, when I leave my conference in Jupiter today, I"ll be driving 2+ hours to make a 3:00 tee time at Disney's Palm. Friday, I'm playing 27 holes (9 at Oak Trail and 18 at Magnolia). Yes, there will be pictures.

Not all the pictures will be on MC though, with my iPhone I'll be posting pics from my trip pretty much as I'm taking them at www.fuzzyshot.com/lasvegastim. If you click the link now and you can see some of what I've been up to already this week.

Had a great day. Drove up to WDW and made my tee time by 10 minutes. Forget warming up, I zoomed over to the first tee at the Palm and found myself in a group of one . . . with no group ahead of me . . . and none behind. It was like playing golf on my own personal course--at Walt Disney World! How cool is that?

SultanTim, I am so jealous! I love keeping up with your trip this way, it's almost like I'm there with you. I can even feel the feeling and change of atmosphere I always have when driving under the Magic Kingdom entrance.
And the golf course thing, so awesome! Your own little course, is awesome enough, but the fact that you found somewhere un-crowded at WDW is plain amazing.

That's a fine looking course, but there's some haggard spots in that green. I expected better... Glad you had fun though. I would love to try one of Disney's courses!

The greens were a little dried out, but they putted pretty true. No complaints here.

Today I'm spending in the parks. I've already been to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. I'm taking a break right now, but next I'm heading over to Disney Hollywood Studio and, if I have time, Epcot. I'm trying to get a taste of all the parks today. I'm not killing myself to get on every ride--although the crowds aren't too bad.

Had a great time yesterday! The weather was absolutely perfect, and I don't think we waited more than 10 minutes for anything we rode. The only downside is that I didn't have more time to spend.

Yeah, but I was glad you were able to make it out for the time you did.

After going back to my room for a break Thursday, I headed over to Disney Hollywood Studios. I was having some network issues, so a lot of these pics didn't get posted until later that night. Here are some FuzzyShot highlights:

I completely forgot Toy Story Mania was here. I was in SoCal the week it opened at Disneyland, but didn't have time to get over to ride it:



I'd been to the Studios twice in the past and each time the Great Movie Ride was closed. It was a high priority to ride this time.



But wouldn't you know, it was closed. "Temporarily," the CM said. Fingers crossed.

I headed over to ToT and walked right on. I like it so much better than the DL version. The fifth dimension room makes the ride for me:



Our bellman wasn't really into his spiel, but he did ok:



Rock'n Roller Coaster had a 30-minute standby wait. I FastPassed it:



Back to the Great Movie Ride. It was open. :











After GMR, I went around the corner to Pixar and Toy Story Midway Mania:







I have a lot more pics to post here from yesterday, including another full day of golf and a fun evening at Epcot. For now, I've got to finish packing things up so I can get to the airport.

I was in the same building on the first floor . I thought the 70s buildings were the best. The foosball table was awesome.

I'm on Disney's Magical Express to the airport now. It'll be good to get home, but I DON'T WANNA GO!!!!!
