I am actually liking the way Spaceship Earth is slowly progressing. Maybe it's just because I'm there all the time, but i like going and looking for whats new or changed since the last time I was on. I think it would be neat if there were constantly small changes to more attractions, it would keep them fresh for locals, and possibly even keep attractions on the cutting edge, if the Imagineers had the freedom to add new stuff as they think of it or as technology becomes available, instead of having to wait until a once a decade refurb.
**Whoo! 100 posts!**
I was on it today and looked around, some curtains were gone but not sure what I could see behind them, too dark
Bring a flashlight next time!
NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY IN DARK RIDES PLEASE, and notice I am not laughing about it. Its my biggest petpeeve of them all.
Ohpleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease....some semblance of the old sparkle city and/or the tunnel of green laser lights beaming us downward!
However, some more noticeable changes were made in the past couple of weeks.
In response to the photography question, who wants to set up a well timed e-stop? :cgrin:
Again, the biggest rumor is that more of those triangles will be added and they will have projections on them similar to the old Tomorrow's child ending. There's also rumor that we'll have some swirly blue fiber optics leading us down.
So my suspitions are true. Cheap TV show with no substance. nice.
Don't expect any AAs in there. In fact, the only concrete that were ever in the descent were the glitter city and the SpaceShip Earth model (aside from lighting effects). Classroom of the future was screen based, videophone conversations were screen/mirror based.
I LOVE the score during the descent in the Irons version. I still haven't seen/heard the new one.
