I've told this story before, but it's been a while. A few (many?) years ago I planned to turn 40 in the World. About 3 weeks before, I took an accelerated scuba diving course, and signed up to do the Dive Quest in the Living Seas tank. Talk about your incredible experience! They really treat you royally, you barely have to schlep any equipment anywhere, and it's so cool to be on the other side of the glass looking in at the people!

After the dive I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Coral Reef, drinks at the Rose & Crown and of course IllumiNations. On my way out I stopped at the Centorium store and was enjoying watching Pluto playing with some kids, stealing their hats and running off, etc. I was chatting with his handler CM, and must have mentioned that it had been a pretty good birthday. Before I knew it, Pluto was taking me by the hand and making me stand up on a bench while his handler said "Today is Dan's birthday - let's all sing!" What a great way to end up a great birthday, with Pluto leading a bunch of strangers in a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday. It'll go down in history as my favorite birthday ever!
