While I think you've given USF a pass on some rides I wouldn't such as Twister (ok for once but not much fun more than once), Disaster (if the effects work is ok, other than that its a disaster). Fivels slide to me isn't even worth mentioning as well. I do agree that USF would slightly get the nod from me.

One of the biggest failures it has though is park entry. DHS enters you right into the streets of Hollywood with a wonderful Welcome to Hollywood score and wonderful placemaking. USF drops you into a boring soundstage zone.

Funny little experiment I did. When I have taken people to USF and DHS

If I take people straight down the USF front lot by the sound stages people like DHS better. If I take people to the right down USF's Hollywood BLVD people like USF better.

I think they should have let people enter through Hollywood but alas that isn't how the park is currently laid out

At least Universal had the good sense not to plop a gigantic article of clothing in the middle of their Tinsel Town.
