Trip Report Stitchy's Great Escape! (mega photos)

Ladies and Gentlemen, we'd like to welcome you to the Walt Disney World Resort. As always, we have a few cautions for your advantage.

This includes antennas, tentacles, and googly eyes. For those of you from other galaxies.

Please, give the driver your full attention until the ride is complete and has come to a full stop.

Remember...

Those of you who do not wish to have water thrown at you at any time, please, exit the ride now.

For those remaining, we welcome you once again, and hope you enjoy the ride.

Please...remain calm, the ride will resume shortly.

Thank you, Ladies and Gentlemen, for remaining seated and calm. Your ride will continue immediately. Our story follows a family of yesterday on a normal, ancient family tradition called a "vacation". We watch as this family visits someplace very popular, and seems to have a strange hold over many member of society. We will try to explore this phenomenon, and let you draw your own conclusions. So, please, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Our adventure begins in Oklahoma. Three eager people pack their bags and head out bright and early in the morning, for the unknown. A short 12 hours later, they reach their stopping point...Louisiana, and the home of the inlaws (blood curdling scream). The very next day........the journey continues. 10 hours later, they reach their destination.

The smallest of the group (with two strangely dressed mice in tow), anxiously heads into our base of operations.

Our family of yesterday, gathers around this large hole in the ground....watching the smallest member flop around in a clear, liquid substance. We now ask that you use your imaginations for this scene, as it was too gruesome to actually commit to our ride sequence.

After a night of unconsciousness, our family heads to a Magical Kingdom. There is some kind of ritual involving a train, several furry giants, singing and, finally, gates opening before they can actually enter the Kingdom. The smallest member gets covered in some kind of weird paper material.

Our family then heads inside those gates, and into a world oddly decorated with the color orange, and carved gourds.

The family gathers around a beautiful building, grey with blue turrents. We have come to know this as Cinderella Castle. The family's excitement builds greatly after seeing this remarkable site.

After the blonde one takes many pictures, the family heads onto their first ride...something called Peter Pan, about a boy with an affinity for green tights.

They meet many strange characters along their journey. This one was rather friendly, offering to take a picture with the little one. I believe she was referred to as..."the fairy godmother".

Oh, please remain seated, folks. Our ride has been disturbed and shall continue in a moment. Thank you for your continuing patience.
