Which is the best Polynesian Resort building?

As my family and I are staying at the Polynesian, we would like to know which is the best building, based on proximity reasons, view, or personal preference. We did not pay for "theme park view" but we're still curious as to where in the hotel would be the best place to stay. Thank you.

We're also staying at the Polynesian and I requested Rarotonga because it is closest to the Great Ceremonial House and monorail. I do have mobilty issues and although I can walk, I am unable to go too far too fast, so that's why I requested this longhouse.

We love the Tahiti. My dad uses a scooter and we like that Tahiti is very close to the TTC with both Epcot and Magic Kingdom monorails. Out the hotel room and a 2 minute walk to both monorails...can't beat it.

Re: Which is the best Polynesian Resort building?

I have managed to stay in every building on the property over the years, with the latest two rounds of refurbs there really isn't a bad room in the place, the old "Mold and smell" issues where fixed a while back which where the biggest complaint most folks had.

From a convenience to transportation I would recommend Rapa Nui or Tahiti as they are close to the TTC walkway for access to Epcot, The new bus station, and is still close to the Great Ceramonial house. It also is nice since it's far from the Luao so you can get a decent night's sleep.

My vote is with some of the others.. Tahiti building. We never pay for a view, I like proximity. But here, as with all the others, you will always walk some.
