Disney World gets new ambassadors

Walt Disney World 2009 ambassadors, a Disney tradition that will have them represent the theme park and its 62,000 employees in civic events and promotions around the world.
During a ceremony at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Vanessa Rosas and Clay Shoemaker were named as the resort's 38th ambassador team.
Rosas, 33, is an industrial engineer who began her career at Disney World in 2000 and most recently worked in theme park operations. Throughout her career, she has been active in activities and organizations such as Disney's Candlelight Cast Choir, Hispanic Organization for Leadership Advancement and the industrial engineering community service team.
Shoemaker, 31, came to Disney World in 1996. Among many roles, he managed guided tour operations at the Magic Kingdom, assisted with the opening of Hong Kong Disneyland, and participated in Disney World's sweepstakes prize patrol, known as the Dream Squad.
