To me Disney is still thinking WDW SM is the original so i think there a fight about rehab or no rehab.

That's not the issue. the issue is Phil is to scared to listen to temporary complaints to close the attraction for X amount of time. Regardless of the fact that it is badly needed to truly bring the attraction up to 21st century standards (like the other 4 Space Mountains) and the fact that the budget was approved a while back. Phil simply can't see into the future and see why the benefits of an extensive rehab outweigh the trivial and temporary harms of guests complaints.
I like The Happiest Millionaire. What's wrong with that?

Don't know if I'd describe WDW's as 'sorta violent' as halltd says. My observation is that DL's is considerably smoother and has better effects.
