I wish you the best of luck.. I'm sure everything will work out great! Too bad you weren't doing it earlier instead of being in FL after I leave. ![]() | |

![]() | Re: College Program Thanks Mr Eggz! Vista Way... I think they call that the "party appartments" now. Seriously! They even have their own site! It's pretty crazy... but hopefully mine will br pretty normalish because I'm under 21, so I'll be in the "dry" appartments... then again that hasn't exactly turned out that everyone's actually "substnce free" here on the substance free floor here at college... . Thanks for the encouragement & tips too btw! BigPigletFan, It is too bad you won't be there when I will! It would be fun to actually know somebody who's there Oh well... Making friends is fun too FYI, I am 5'5" (or 5'3/4"). Which I have been told is "princess height"...hehe... I'm hopeful for sure!drnilescrane, I'm not sure, but I think there are quite a few of us out there. I think I may have read somewhere that there were 40% part time workers at WDW, so however many of the part timers are CPs, that's your answer.

![]() As for the "dry" apartments... well, even if they are there is not guarntee your roommates will abide by it. Instill what you can from day one and best of luck with it. As for the non-party place, for the most part that would be Chatham Square. When you move-in get there early on that day and they ask you what room size and if you have any other specifications. I would suggest asking to live in Chatam. I would also suggest bringing your car if you have one that can make it. It's a long drive, but you will be happy you have it! Quote:

![]() I had a blast at my audition! The biggest key, and I can't emphasize this enough, is to smile and have fun. In the long run, dance experience means little (as far as just getting into the department) compared to your attitude. I've never taken a dance class in my life! They teach you a short routine (I think it was like 6 counts of 8) and then have you perform that for the auditioners. There's also an "animation" segment, where they'll give you a situation and have you act it out like a character. The key there is BE BIG! They're looking for you to have larger-than-life movements. I got so into mine that I almost tripped and fell on my face! There's a saying about that part, and it's so true: If you feel stupid, you're doing it right! ![]() As for the experienced dancers stuff, definitely go for it - that'll give you a chance to learn parades and/or shows! It almost sounds like that's your "color coding" (where they ***** your movement and animation skills for the purpose of parades and shows) that they're doing when you initially audition now, rather than waiting until after you get there and can go to the regularly scheduled ones. I'm not sure on that, though. The whole job is a real blast, though! I miss it so much. Sets are long and HOT, but there's so many adorable kids that you'll see each day that really make your day. ![]()

![]() | Re: College Program This is a question current fall cps and fall alumnists. Roughly what day of the year did you start the fall advantage program. I am trying to plan a trip to cedar point before I (hopefully) head down for the program?

![]() | Re: College Program They've got a range of dates... mine was May 29th (or somewhere thereabouts) and I was one of the later groups to arrive. I seem to recall them going into the first week of June as well, but I'm not certain.

![]() | Re: College Program I did the college program back in June of 01' to June of 02'. I was an advanced intern at the Land Greenhouses in Epcot. The internship was for six months but I got lucky when they ask me to stay another six months. I lived by Sea World for the first six months, because Advanced Internships you don't have to live in Disney housing. The second six months I moved into Disney housing in The Commons, where all the internationals stay. The internship was awesome, one of the best times of my life. If you looking to do the program here is some advice. When you go into the presentation and you do your interview, dress in business dress, that will set you apart from everybody else and it makes you look more professional. Also be outgoing and happy, that’s what they are looking for. If you are shy and introverted you won't get picked. I would totally recommend the college program for anybody who loves Disney; it’s really a great experience.

![]() | Re: College Program Auditions...Well... I think I did alright At least, I did the best I could do, so what more can I have asked for? I wish I could have caught onto the second routine a little quicker, but oh well... I think on the whole It went ok and hopefuly I'll find out in a week or two if I've made it in & the answer will (hopefully) be yes!Wishing on a star...
