If you are planning a WDW trip within the next year...

...when do you plan to go?

Do you plan to take advantage of the "What Will You Celebrate?" Campaign and if so what event(s) are you gonna celebrate and when?

Are you just planning just a traditional trip? Do you plan to go when it's less crowded?

Or do you plan to go during one of the holiday/party events?

Just wondering given the rough economy how everyone's gonna do their next Disney trip.

We're "local" in Florida, so I'm thinking of going to WDW more because going further will cost more for us. We normally don't plan way in advance ... just a few weeks before we go and can usually find good hotel deals.

I thought about going for my birthday for the "prize," but we'll decide that in May.

We're going the first week of January to move my sister in. She is doing the college internship.

We're going in June, with our families and A LOT of dear friends, along with their families. And we'll be there just in time to celebrate our first wedding anniversary!

We are going Jan. 10th-18th. Probably staying at the Poly but maybe the Grand Floridian. This year was the 1st year in 4 years that we haven't gone during Christmas time so I am kinda excited to go with less people and no Christmas stuff.

I'll be going at least twice next year. Probably in May like usual to use the last day on my pass from this year and then my usual birthday trip in August to use my free bday admission (works out my birthday is on a Saturday next year).

Spring Break/Passover/Easter week. I guess we're sorta celebrating the Five year old being five. Her birthday is a month before the trip, but it's *because* she's old enough to really enjoy it now...

We are going the day after school gets out in June, to celebrate my graduation and first full year of teaching. It's our first time and we are lucky enough to be traveling in the company of several other families from MiceChat.

We're going during the first two weeks of December next year. Anyone else going to be there then? We'll most likely be staying at Pop Century.

Re: If you are planning a WDW trip within the next year...

We have a cruise booked for the end of August. We will stay a few days on either the front or back end of that vacation.

My birthday is end of June, and my kids are Nov and the beginning of Aug. I booked the cruise before the vacation deal was announced. Also there was a +/- $2,000 difference in total cruise prices between the beginning of July and end of August. The later you cruised the cheaper it was.

We want to do a WDW only trip sometime this year, but scheduling and airfare are not playing along. If our vacations work out, and arifare decides to play nicely (i.e not in the stratospheric $500 a ticket range) then maybe an early July trip. If we cant swing that, then maybe somthing around Nov-Dec.

Re: If you are planning a WDW trip within the next year...

We are booked at Pop Century from August the 15th, until the 24th. I have been promising to take my grandson back to Disney World, since we were last there together in 2005.

Pop Century, because it's cheaper than the other resorts, and probably mostly fast food eateries, to cut down on the cost of food. Yes, I am really trying to save money on this trip, even though it will be our longest to date. I got the AAA rate on the room, so that saved us money.

I have been watching airfare, and right now it isn't too bad. I am hoping that it will go down a little more after January.

I'm booked March 15th-19th at All Star Sports. Hopefully, I will visit the end of May/early June, sometimes is October and December.

I will not be taking part in the whole free birthday thing because my birthday is April 12th which happens to be Easter this year. I do not want to fight those crowds!

Re: If you are planning a WDW trip within the next year...

I was trying to plan for us to go in October for my 30th birthday and drag my whole family with us as my dad's birthday is October 7th and one of my neices' is October 22nd. But Botcon has been accounced as being in Pasadena at the end of May, so perhaps I will be going getting to go to Disneyland for the first time.

Hmm...perhaps I can squeeze in both??
