Which attraction[s] at MK would you not mind seeing gone?

Which attractions at MK would you not mind if they closed and replaced with something else?

I wouldn't cry a bit if Stitch left, bring back the Alien Encounter...the "new" Tiki Room could go if they won't bring back the original.

Re: Which attraction[s] at MK would you not mind seeing gone?

There are several things I would replace if I could wave a magic wand and make it happen... but let's go for the low hanging fruit first.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin should be removed. Adventureland was an excellently themed area. It really felt like an exotic locale in the tropics. Now it just feels like the state fair. Yuck.

I'll agree with The Magic Carpets, New Management Tiki Room and Stitch.

I would add the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House to the list. I hate that glorified stairmaster.

I say the same! Burn it down and replace it with something half worth it. Heck another Flying carpet/Dumbo/Triceratops Spin attraction would be of better use! Not that I want that, because Aladdin's Carpets can fly straight into the ground for all I care. Both of these are an eyesore and a complete and total waste of resources.

Like how you put UNM in bold because I would still want a Tiki room in MK, just a different version. Everything else on the list I agree with.

Re: Which attraction[s] at MK would you not mind seeing gone?

Please remove:

At the MK,
-Stitch's Great Fiasco
-Monsters Inc Laughable Club
-Flying Carpets over Adventureland
-Tiki's New Management show.
-Pooh's Cheap Playground
-Hall of Prez.

Please keep the glorified stairmaster aka Swiss Fam. Treehouse as it is the only exercise some guests at WDW will ever get in their lifetime.

EPCOT Center:
-Innoventions. ALL of it.
-Mission: Death
-Test Track
-the last two versions of Journey into a clueless Imagineer's Imagination.
-Maelstrom. ..and the little movie too!

D's Hollywood Studios:
-Laugh in the dark with the Price is Right guy.
-American Idle.
-Beauty and the Beast (it seems to have been there as long as the Diamond Horseshoe Revue was)
-The Not-so great anymore Movie Ride.
-Studio Tram to Catastrophy Canyon and back.
-Indy's Stunt show.. it has run it's course.. give us the DL/TDS ride!

Finally, Animal Kingdom:
-The Bird show.. set them free, please.
-The silly train ride to Conservation Station. Put an E-Ticket or brand new land in that prime farmland.
-The water raft ride... please no more 6-Flags crap on Disney parks.
-The entire Hester/Chester carnival area and related rides and games. Again, no more 6-Flags crap on Disney parks.

Things that need major improvement and upgraded tech and show elements, OR ELSE:
-Snow White/Peter Pan/Space Mt./Big T Mt./COP/Buzz Bang bang ride/Jungle Cruise... Heck, we could use a brand new Fantasyland at the MK.
-Test Track/Listen to the Land/Mexico's Rio de Queso
-R&R Coaster
-Everest/Kilimajaro Safari/Lion King show.

Re: Which attraction[s] at MK would you not mind seeing gone?

For the sake of sparing room and time, I'll stick with just my list for MK as op requested.

Remove:
  • Pooh's Playful Spot
  • Stitch
  • Monster's Laugh Floor
  • Buzz Lightyear
Improve or be gone:
  • Hall of Prez - I'm not enjoying the concept of having the current president give a speech (or even talking at all). I'd rather they just stick with Lincoln or Washington giving a speech.
  • Mickey's Toontown Fair - GET RID OF THE "FAIR"!!! Enough said. (maybe add some actual attractions in this area as well)
  • Carousel of Progress - I hate having to add this to the list. It's a classic ride but it made no sense to me that they jump from 1900's to 1920's to 1940's and then do a huge jump into the future vision. I would love to see them add more since...well you know...more time has passed. Walt wouldve wanted it updated for its current audience IMO.
  • Snow White - I'm still a bit iffy about the new concept of a roller coaster but I would love to see a few crazy ups and down with this ride (make it darker and scarier, heh). Also it would be nice if this ride was made to have much fewer pauses and breakdowns.
  • Flying Carpets of Agrabah - Wouldve been better as a bad*ss indoor dark ride than as a Dumbo clone.
  • Tiki Room - hurts my neck to watch (LoL) but I would love to see this show spiced up a lil bit more in the special effects department (and maybe give us a better seating arrangement).
  • Space Mountain (please dont kill me!) - It's too dark an instense, IMO. I just think it needs to be toned down a notch and I would actually like to see something instead of just black the whole time.
  • AstroOrbiter - seats could stand to be roomier. I swear an insane CM forced me and my friend to share one just to prove we could both fit. It was very unpleasant.
Dont care either way:
  • Philharmagic - It's a good attraction but I'm not big on the selection of songs/film explored. 4 out of the 5 films used are from the recent Disney Renaissance. Why not use more of Walt's classic films for this show? How about using Pinocchio's Monstro sequence or Cinderella's Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo song? Mix it up a little.
  • Swiss Family Treehouse/Tom Sawyer's Island
  • Peter's Pan Flight - Let's make this ride 10000x cooler and much longer please than it is. It's got great potential and our current technology can really put in a greater aspect of flight, adventure, and visuals in this ride. It's out of date techwise is what I'm really trying to say. Also for a ride with enormous waiting periods I would love to get more than 2 minutes worth of ride outta this one.
  • Pooh's Ride - Though we all know of a certain Tokyo version we would much rather prefer!
  • Jungle Cruise - Improve the special effects and techs on this ride and it will be good. I like the Jungle water atmosphere of it all. Great to ride at night. Improve the lighting and animatronics and I will keep riding at night.

Re: Which attraction[s] at MK would you not mind seeing gone?

Oh, wow. Seeing the other opinions really got my mind going, I had forgotten a lot of them....

at MK, sack

Stitch
Monsters, Inc.
Pooh's "Playful" Spot
Aladdin Carpets (um, it's just another Dumbo, why have this?)
Tiki Room (Under New Management), bring back the old one

and the last poster did Epcot....I say get rid of Test Track, Mission: Space (that ride kills me), and the Journey Into Imagination "with Figment" (bring something like the original back, please). I like the dark, "edutainment" rides like SSE, WoM, Horizons more. That's what Epcot is supposed to be about, education....not thrills that may be a little 'informative.' One thrill ride there would be enough.

Hollywood Studios: Sounds Dangerous, American Idol, and Beauty and the Beast has over-stayed its welcome.

I like that term "glorified stairmaster" to describe the Treehouse. That it is.
