Incredible pics - probably the clearest pic of Mickey & sword in F! that I've ever seen. Talk some tech - what kind of camera, what settings, etc. The fireworks pics don't look like normal long exposure - they're sharper than that. How do you do it? Dish, baby - dish!

    Alright I'll dish...
My weapon of choice: Sony Alpha 300 (w/zoom lense occasionally)
    Settings per specific picture:

    F-number - F/5.6
    Exposure Time - 1/100 sec.
    ISO - 1600
    Metering - Pattern
    Shutter Priority

    F-number - F/4
    Exposure Time - 1.3 sec.
    ISO - 100
    Metering - Pattern
    Shutter Priority
This was handheld... and I, myself, am slightly perplexed at it's clearity.

    F-number - F/6.3
    Exposure Time - 4 sec.
    ISO - 100
    Metering - Pattern
    Shutter Priority
    Adjusted brightness and contrast.

I hope those answer a few questions. Thank you all for your comments, it's very encouraging with such positive feedback!

Here's another pic just for kicks!

Not the greatest picture in the world, but I like the picture of a picture happening in the middle!

Thanks for the details - most informative. And I saw that last shot when I looked at your collection on Flickr, and hoped you'd post it here sometime. It's my new desktop - really wonderful picture!

ISO setting of 1600? What a camera!!!
