Photo Update of WDW <> Mini Mtsplash trip report

Hello everyone! I'm going to post a few pictures tonight to update all of you on some WDW happenings.... and later (tomorrow) I will post a mini trip report in this very same thread!

first off.... I'll show you some cool little details and Hidden Mickeys I found while strolling around this past week....

^this is what I found in Liberty Square.... notice the ship?^


^I thought this was cool.... it's in the queue for Tomorrowland Speedway. It shows all the track layouts of all the Autopia/speedway attractions around the globe!^


^This is in the Tuscar House in the Animal Kingdom^


^here is a hidden mickey, that can be found in numerous location inside Buzz^


^this is one of my favorite hidden mickeys!! found inside a building through which the Expidition Everest queue travels^

BTW... I comfirm that Expidition Everest IS in so called "B-mode"


^another awesome hidden mickey located on the ground outside HM^


^as you can see and probably know, HOP is down due the adding of the Barack Obama AA!!!!!!!!^


^Splash Mountain is currently dry for rehab^

A semi-big section of Tomorrowland is closed off for....something




A new snack stand, called the Golden Oak Outpost, is well on it's way to opening.




Also... A big crane is set up to take down the lighting mesh of the
Castle.




News Flash!!!! Tarps have apeared over the old Tomorrowland Skyway Station!!!!!!!!!




This next thing is AWESOME!!!!! we were riding the TTA..... and when we entered SM...... The lights were on!!!!!!!!

Mini Trip Report

The mini trip report will pretty much just be some of my favorite pics I took.... Enjoy!!!!


Got a chance to explore TSI... and I must say that it is AWESOME!
Especially since there are no pirates on it...








We got to stay at the Wilderness Lodge for two nights... We booked this trip last minute, so we ended up resort hopping!!! 2 nights off property, 1 night at Saratoga Springs, 2 nights at Wilderness Lodge, and 2 nights at Saratoga again!

and now to answer a couple questions.....

These are terrific pictures! Cool shot of Space mtn lights-on.
How were the crowds while you were there?

The only times I've been to WDW have been during January or October... and I would say the crowds were the same.... light - moderate I guess.

May I ask what model camera you used?

I use a Nikon D70s with 2 lenses... an 18-55 and a 55-200 mm.


Sorry I answered so late.... My excuse is that I spent the last five days in the last true wilderness, The Ocean!!! that's right... I went on a cruise....
