Did you know that Walt Disney World has a Cake Hotline??? You can order a cake for a birthday or special occasion. Just order it at least 48 hours in advance through WDW’s Cake Hotline (407-827-2253). Remind the people at the podium where you are dining at Walt Disney World about these special arrangements as you check in for your lunch or dinner reservation.

I would rather get something off the cake hotline (I've seen threads elsewhere with wonderful cakes) than the $21 frozen Sara Lee type cake they serve if you ask at the podium.

Cheaper to be at a buffet that includes cake as dessert, though.

Yes, the Sarah Lee type cakes are gross. However, if you are eating in the World Showcase and the restaurants are not owned by Disney then you will get a cake from Publix, not a really cool Disney cake!
