Question Cinderella's royal table + dining plan=?

I have a question about the dining plan and Cinderella's royal table, I am going to the world in august and was wondering how you would go about making a reservation for Cinderella's royal table when using the dining plan, because i here now you have to pay in advance so how would you pay in advance if your using the dining plan. P.S. I am aware that I would have to exchange two table service meals for one breakfast buffet Any help would be much appriciateated
THAnk you!

I've been asking so many questions myself that I'm glad I can actually post an answer for a change! I had just talked to a CM during dining reservations and she had mentioned that if you already HAVE the dining plan as part of your reservation, when you call to reserve Cinderella's table, they will still take your credit card but only to use it for holding the spot (it won't be charged) and you will just use 2 dining credits when you do show up. Without the dining plan, you would pay in full when making the reservation.
Call early! I read a strategy on allears.net to reserve the table and was astounded at how crazy it is to reserve it!

And don't forget...when you are at the restaurant...let your server know that you will be using the dining plan. It makes it much easier on them if they know early instead of later.

Re: Cinderella's royal table + dining plan=?

I'll break it down for you:

  • 90 days prior to your arrival date start calling in, this is another way staying on property gives you an edge as you can book it up to 100 days in advance this way versus the 90 days for off site visitors
  • Tell the CM your staying on property and have the meal plan, they will probably ask for your 7-9 digit confirmation number for your booking or your home phone number make sure you have it handy, you may also have to give them a credit card number.
The castle, like California grill and others, now holds a credit card and will charge you as a no show if you do not cancel the reservation ahead of time or if a party member decides not to do the meal with you. Last time I checked it was $20/person for no shows. So if you cancel the trip at the last minute please remember to call in and cancel all your reservations so others may enjoy it.

Good Luck!

Thank you so much you answered my question! I just booked it with AAA, how long do you think it takes to get a confirmation number, so I can make dining reservations?

For Cinderella's Castle, I thought it was still 180 days, not 90. I made my reservations for that at 180 days.
Call WDW Dining.

It's "officially" 90 days now but they are "creeping" up on it I believe you can book up to June 19th at the moment.

AAA may be different as they are a "bulk carrier" (They buy blocks of rooms in advance hoping they will have a cheaper rate, often times the specials come out later that are cheaper especially lately) but they should have a confirmation number from Disney once they file your information with them. I would call AAA about that as for privacy reasons only they can pull up your info in the DTA database. When I book a client through the Disney travel Agency's tools it gives us the number right away but they may have a slightly different setup/arrangement.

Worse case Scenario they should be able to pull you up based on your phone number you booked with if the info is in the Disney system.
