WDW Discount AP

Does anyone know about any discounted AP for WDW at this time?

There's the residency discount, and apparently AAA has a further discount on that. Is that as cheap as it's gonna get or does CostCo or Walmart or anything have a discount out there similar to CostCo has going on for a Disneyland Deluxe pass right now? The CostCo deluxe AP discounted plus the $50 giftcard really is a sweet deal, it'd be nice if florida had something like it.

Re: WDW Discount AP

The best AAA can do right now is offer the same package WDW Travel is offering. Its the buy 4 nights get 3 nights free offer. I just booked it for myself and my girlfriend through Disney. 7 nights @ Pop century resort, 7 day park hopper with water park option came to just over $1000. Compared to anything else right now that is the best deal you can find, but I have to warn you it ends this Friday. Good luck!

Re: WDW Discount AP

The APs are already highly discounted. I would assume you will not find further discounts than those offered to residents of FL and those who re-new their AP yearly before expiration dates.

EDIT: plus what the handsome young man above me says...

Re: WDW Discount AP

AAA does offer discount APs, discounted on top of the florida residential discount, but you have to go get them in person at the AAA office. I guess that's gonna be what I go for.

Re: WDW Discount AP

How much do those AAA passes run for anyway? I'm just curious.

Now I'm curious, is the discount cheaper than the renewal rate?

I have never visited WDW long enough to make it beneficial to purchase an Annual Pass.

I've found it works the other way around, once you buy one you wind up visiting more often. As opposed to 1-2 trips a year we are now embarking in 3-4 trips a year due to the room discounts and the added value of being able to have the Dining Plan with the AP room only rates. (albeit shorter trips but much more frequently and for more days/year) Plus it means we get to get together with our friends who live down there more often!

Re: WDW Discount AP

I can't afford to travel more than twice a year by plane. Once to Disneyland, and once to Disney World. Now, if there was one AP for both places, I'd be set.
