I doubt there is any chance of this happening. Surely this ride is targeted at teen and adult thrill seekers? If they re-themed it'd cut out that audience while probably failing to attract anyone younger...

And really, I think Aerosmith is a great fit. I don't like them AT ALL but when I rode it at WDSP I loved it... the music was perfect and I couldn't think of anyone else that'd work as well. It has to be a band who people don't 'hate'... so there are people who love them but also people who don't necessarily like the band but are not turned off by it. I know that I would be turned off by it being themed to someone like RHCP or U2.

EDIT: Saying that, it would be perfect if it was themed to Spinal Tap :P

if Aerosmith doesnt renew I hope No Doubt gets the contract... when the idea was made for DLR for a RnRC No Doubt was envisioned to do the soundtrack as they got there start performing on the TL Terrace Stage.

Mylie doesnt want to keep on going as Hannah for too much longer and has already expressed veiws of wanting to discontinue the show and persona.

Seriously. This ride is perfect for Muse. Meh, If Disney ditched Aeorsmith, it's almost a guarentee that they will replace them with a Disney branded singer/group to save money. Jonas Brothers anyone?

I'm sorry, but I just want to smack that girl with a 2x4. But here's the thing that might be in Disney's mind...why not "re-brand" the coaster with someone who's already in the Disney stable? They might boost record sales or viewership or merchandise, and they don't have to pay an outside source like Aerosmith. I doubt they'd do it with Hannah Montana, mostly because I think it's just about over, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them go with the Jonas Brothers or any of the other pre-packaged canned popsters they own.

I don't see this happening, isn't the Hannah Montana thing almost over? I also can see them losing Aerosmith at some point in the future as they become less relevent to the younger audience that the attraction appeals to.

if and when Aerosmith's contract runs out I would suspect that it either be simply renewed and/or the park brings in a new group to replace Aerosmith that is along the lines of real rock and roll, not pop that will sooon die out.
