Aerosmith being dumped for Hannah Montana?!?!

How about if Disney wants to change the band they cough up the dough to get the one they originally wanted: Rolling Stones.

Aerosmith itself was apparently a compromise.

However, if Hanna ever gets put in their, I'd personally slap DHS's VP in the face.

This rumor kept popping up when I was working at the RnRC. As far as I know, Disney's deal with Aerosmith is still a pretty favorable one. Plus, if they switch to Hannah Montana they would have to consider the amount of her fans that don't actually meet the height requirement necessary to ride the attraction. I never heard an official word from the managers, but I was led to believe that Aerosmith will be sticking around for a while.

Some would argue that the real Journey was the band that existed before Steve Perry was even in the band, and they became the best example of how horrible music [sic] can be if you totally remove all traces of soul from it. The music of the 70s has a bad rap, despite great records by people like the Who or Springsteen, because of garbage like disco and the corporate rock nightmares of people like Journey and Foreigner!

Most bands/performers that have been aimed at the age group sought by Hannah Montana are doomed to obscurity anyway. That's why in places like Disney parks they are represented by shows that can be changed out easily, as opposed to multi-million dollar attractions. Most people will turn their backs on things they thought were great at age 12 by high school, because few high school kids are going to think that something aimed at 12 year olds is cool.

Hannah Montana may be near its end but Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers are taking off. So if not Hannah Montana...then the Jonas Brothers will take the Roller Coaster over.

hannah montana is not as famous as aerosmith. they should think about the fact that many tourists come from other parts of the world where hannah is not a big thing at all

the reason a band like aerosmith is good is because they will be known and recognized decades after they are done making music. Much like the Beatles, the Stones, and Zep.

Why do that when they can have SYNERGY!!! Remember, nearly nothing at WDW gets built anymore unless it has SYNERGY. We should all be thankful for the building of Expedition Everest, it may be a very rare thing before long.

I think the biggest issue with utilizing one of these Disney Channel star acts is the demographics. They just do not line up. Hannah Montana, The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, et al. would attraction a significant crowd that would be unable to ride.

if they do in fact do this, they should change the name to "Disney's sell out studios" and never see a dime of my money. I'm begging disney to please stop taking the preteens hard earned babysitting money and let the Jonas and Hannah Montana disappear into pop history.
